The ERASDG project is a 2-year running project funded by the ERASMUS+ program.
The project has 3 main goals:
1. Firstly, it wants to empower students and their teachers to contribute to the implementation of SDGs through
a. Learner-centered pedagogical approaches
b. A positive experience of tackling important issues communally and through international cooperation
c. Providing the students with skills and network needed to continue to do so in the future
2. Next, in order to empower students, educators must be well equipped to provide meaningful education in issues related to sustainability. The teaching must include the contribution from the world of work and involve the use of authentic, real-life challenges related to SDG12 and SDG 13 as well as innovative learner-centered pedagogical approaches.
3. Finally, in order to develop innovative sustainability solutions, it is of vital importance to share these results as well as other good practices with others at a local, regional, national as well as international level.
The project involves 9 partners in 8 countries. The major bulk of activities was implemented from January 2021 until December 2022 with the practical assistance of 4 associated partners from the world-of-work and from EUROPEA, the European association of green vocational schools.
